Devlin goes silver

Not so long ago I said that I could see many of the songs from Devlin’s new album Bud Sweat and Beers raking up serious radio plays and I’m pleased to say I was right.

The Essex-born rapper and lyricist Devlin has crept right up the charts and it was announced yesterday that the distinctly British-feeling album has gone silver.

Since it’s release on 1 November, a whopping 60,000 people have purchased and downloaded the album and it seems that next year can only bring more for the talented young star.

He even got some column inches in national newspaper The Sun where he said: “Now my hair isn’t the only silver thing about me.”

So if you haven’t got out there and bought it yet, I strongly suggest you do. But hey, don’t take my word for it- takes 60,000 others words for it.

He’s also got his first headlining tour coming up so keep locked for more info.
