Emma Knock is a freelance travel writer and has written for many travel operators, websites and blogs, including easyJet, lowcostholidays, Experience Travel Group and Traveldudes. She is also the co-founder and Editor in Chief of horror website, The Horror Hothouse and a digital copywriter for a creative agency in London.

Previously a radio project manager at Bauer Media, she has worked on multi award-winning campaigns for brands such as Bacardi, O2 and British Airways. Her other previous job titles include; editor of NXG magazine, staff writer at UKGrime magazine, chief-layout design and reporter at The River and editorial intern at g3 magazine and Campden Media.

A Kingston University graduate (2010), Emma left university with a high 2:1 in journalism (BA Hons) and a Guardian Student Media Award for ‘Publication of the Year’ during her time on The River.

On a more personal note, Emma’s great loves include writing, travel, beat generation literature, good coffee, Cluedo, cheese and David Bowie.
